Ray Weaver brings more than three decades of experience across the healthcare continuum, with
a career shaped by leadership roles in acute-care medical hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, and
diverse outpatient practice settings. His work has spanned primary care, family and internal
medicine, mental health, specialty physician services, and long-term care and assisted living
environments. This breadth of experience has given him a systems-level perspective on how
high-quality care is delivered, coordinated, and sustained across complex healthcare
organizations.
Mr. Weaver earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in
Marketing from Texas Christian University and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling
Psychology from Trinity College of Graduate Studies. He has also completed doctoral-level
studies with a concentration in family systems therapy. Ray holds dual licensure as a Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC),
reflecting the integration of clinical depth with strategic and operational leadership.
For more than 25 years, Mr. Weaver has served in senior executive leadership roles within large,
multi-specialty medical groups. His expertise includes business development, long-term strategic planning, physician recruitment, contract negotiation, and the design of integrated models of care that bridge physical medicine and behavioral health. He continues this work today in an ongoing consulting role, partnering with primary care groups, specialty practices, and health systems to support innovation, scalability, and sustainable care delivery.
In 2010, Mr. Weaver pioneered a collaborative behavioral health practice embedded within primary care and specialty physician settings—an early and forward-looking model of integrated care. This work culminated in the formation of Chiron Psychological, Inc. in 2016. Chiron provides comprehensive outpatient psychological services for children, adolescents, adults, and couples, along with specialized psychological testing and assessment services.
In 2025, Mr. Weaver launched two affiliated organizations to further expand access to mental
health services in Orange County and strengthen coordination across community-based
resources. These organizations also partner with employers to address organizational and
workforce needs through leadership development, team and executive coaching, mediation,
consulting, seminars and workshops, employee assistance programs, and critical incident stress
debriefing (CISD).
Outside of his professional commitments, Ray values time with family and friends and remains deeply engaged in personal growth, faith and spirituality, health and fitness, competitive open-water swimming, and a wide range of outdoor pursuits.
