Dr. Bill Dyment

Bill Dyment, known nationally as “the team doctor,” is a psychologist, executive coach, and
sought-after speaker recognized for his work in team performance, burnout prevention, and
change management. His career reflects a rare integration of clinical psychology, leadership
development, and applied performance science, with a consistent focus on helping individuals
and organizations perform at their best under pressure.

Dr. Dyment earned his Doctorate in Psychology from the Rosemead School of Professional
Psychology and has been in clinical practice for more than 35 years. Early in his career, he
served as an Adjunct Professor teaching doctoral-level students while also building a private
practice specializing in stress, burnout, and resilience. His clinical and professional work has
emphasized evidence-based treatments for depression, anxiety, and related mood disorders,
alongside leadership development, coaching, peak performance, and executive training.

He is Co-Founder and President of Chiron Psychological, where he works closely with the
clinical leadership team to support the strategic development and growth of psychological
services and to cultivate a strong, values-driven professional culture.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Dyment has worked with more than 700 organizations and has
delivered presentations to over 4,650 audiences worldwide, including hospitals, Fortune 500
companies, and government agencies. He is the author of Fire Your Excuses and Leaders’ Guide
to Executive Coaching. His work with individual leaders and corporate teams is grounded in
psychological science and distinguished by a clear emphasis on immediately actionable
strategies—balancing “offensive” performance enhancement with “defensive” resilience and
health protection.

Dr. Dyment brings a global perspective shaped by hands-on work across four continents,
including service on the advisory board of Africa New Day in the Democratic Republic of the
Congo. His diverse experience ranges from supporting former NFL players to guiding frontline
and medical teams through workplace crises. A proven innovator, he has developed proprietary
team assessments, highly specialized coaching programs, and forward-looking interventions that integrate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, into leadership and
performance development.
