Kristen Roberts

Kristen Roberts brings more than twenty years of experience in mental health care, with a career spanning both clinical practice and supervisory leadership. She earned her Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton and holds a post-graduate certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas. Kristen holds dual licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Professional
Clinical Counselor (LPCC), reflecting her broad clinical training and versatility across treatment settings.

Throughout her career, Kristen has served in a range of leadership and supervisory roles, including Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor, and Parent Educator. She has taught parenting education programs for multiple school districts across Orange County and has provided supervision and mentorship to Associate Marriage and Family Therapist interns. Alongside her leadership responsibilities, Kristen maintains an active clinical practice, working with couples, families, and individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her clinical focus includes anxiety, neurodivergence, grief, and mid-life transitions. Kristen also remains engaged in the academic and training community, periodically returning to her alma mater to serve as an adjunct instructor in the graduate Counseling Psychology program.

This ongoing involvement reflects her commitment to developing the next generation of clinicians and staying grounded in contemporary clinical education. After four years with Chiron Psychological as a clinician, Kristen now serves as Director of Outpatient Services and is an integral member of the Chiron Leadership Team. In this role, she supports clinical excellence, program development, and the delivery of high-quality outpatient services aligned with Chiron’s collaborative care model.

Outside of her professional work, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family, interior decorating, reading psychological thrillers, and unwinding with her favorite television series.
