Danielle Richter, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, earned her
Master’s Degree in Counseling from National University. Prior to becoming
a therapist, she worked for many years as a teacher and educator in various parochial and public elementary schools in Orange County.
Danielle has over 16 years of experience helping children, teens, adults and seniors with a variety of issues including ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, postpartum, grief/loss issues, behavior problems, domestic violence, self esteem issues, stress management, and various challenges associated with life adjustments. Danielle enjoys working with individuals, couples and families.
Danielle’s theoretical approach is client-centered, focusing on the needs and goals of each individual. She creates a safe and supportive environment for her clients within the context of complete acceptance and without judgment. She may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy for children, and upon request also offers Faith-Based counseling when suited for the specific individual.
When not working, Danielle enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
She sees patients at our Yorba Linda location.
