Maria Campos is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California. Maria has five years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
She is passionate about working with adolescents and adults as they navigate through life transitions and achieve personal growth. Maria’s therapeutic approach integrates cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and mindfulness. Common issues addressed in therapy include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, family conflicts, and life transitions. Maria is trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and has experience in working with various forms of trauma.
Maria strives to provide a non-threatening and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to express themselves. Her goal is that clients leave with new skills, awareness/insight, and confidence in themselves to face any current and future challenges.
When not working, Maria enjoys traveling, hiking, beach, music, dancing and trying new food.
