Dr. Christopher Plant

Christopher P. Plant is a licensed clinical psychologist with a career that integrates clinical
practice, research leadership, and organizational development within behavioral health care. He
earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and completed
his postdoctoral training at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. His professional
background reflects a deep commitment to evidence-based care, scientific rigor, and thoughtful
leadership within multi-disciplinary teams.

Dr. Plant spent a decade in basic and applied research environments, with focused work in
behavioral neuroscience, treatment development, and clinical trials research. He served as a
coordinator on NIH–funded clinical trials and held leadership roles on additional state and
federally funded research projects. His experience includes study design and implementation,
statistical analysis, academic writing, team leadership, and the translation of research findings
into clinical services and program development. This work has been presented at international
and national professional conferences and has resulted in a robust publication record across
multiple domains.

Clinically, Dr. Plant emphasizes evidence-based treatment and innovation in care delivery, with
particular interest in Process-Based Therapy and faith-integrated approaches to psychotherapy.
His training and professional experience span a wide range of settings, including the Veterans
Health Administration, psychiatric hospitals, integrated and collaborative care environments,
private practice, and performance-focused clinical settings. In his current practice, he works
primarily with adults.

Dr. Plant has served as Clinical Director at Chiron Psychological for the past five years. In this
role, he has supported initiatives in evidence-based treatment implementation, program
development, and clinician training, while supporting the growth and professional development
of the clinical team. He also maintains a strong interest in the ethical and effective integration of
artificial intelligence into behavioral health care delivery, clinician education, and practice
management.

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Plant values time with his wife and young daughter. His
personal interests include athletics, fly fishing, travel, and spending time outdoors.
