Dr Singh is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and earned her Doctor of Psychology Degree at Pepperdine University. She received training in cutting-edge empirically validated cognitive models of treatment from Harbor UCLA Medical Center.
Her approach to therapy is based on providing a warm, empathic and understanding environment with the belief that each person has the potential to live a happy life. A central part to this process in therapy is to help each client uncover their strengths and learn to develop new and more effective ways to deal with distress and to increase your sense of well-being so you can be a happier you.
Dr Singh’s specialty areas are working with adults and teens providing a type of therapy known as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which is empirically validated and proven to be highly effective in treating a wide range of issues including depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, low self esteem, grief, life transitions, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, she also incorporate mindfulness skills and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) when appropriate.
When not working Dr. Singh enjoys traveling, music, spirituality, art, and culture.
