  3. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Sometimes, traditional weekly therapy isn’t enough. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides adolescents and adults with a more structured, personalized level of mental health care—bridging the gap between traditional outpatient therapy and more intensive treatment.

Designed to provide the right level of support at the right time, our IOP helps individuals strengthen emotional well-being, develop practical coping skills, and restore everyday functioning while remaining connected to home, family, school, and work. The program meets at our Yorba Linda office.

Who Can Benefit from IOP?

IOP may be appropriate when traditional outpatient therapy is not providing sufficient support, but inpatient or residential treatment is not necessary.

Our IOP supports adolescents and adults experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychological challenges that are significantly affecting their daily lives, including:

What to Expect

Our IOP combines evidence-based therapeutic approaches, individualized treatment planning, and coordinated professional support.

Depending on individual needs, treatment may include:

Adolescent IOP

Focused on emotional regulation, healthy coping skills, family relationships, social development, and navigating school and developmental challenges. Family involvement and coordination with other providers may be incorporated when appropriate.

Adult IOP

Focused on improving emotional well-being, strengthening relationships, developing effective coping strategies, and addressing mental health challenges affecting work, family responsibilities, and everyday functioning.

Program Structure & Participation

Our IOP provides a consistent therapeutic structure while allowing participants to remain connected to their daily lives.

Getting Started: A Personalized Admission Process

We recognize that choosing the right level of mental health care is an important decision. Here’s what to expect as you get started.
