Lauren Hopkins, MS, LPCC 15112

Lauren Hopkins has acquired over 7 years of experience serving children, adolescents, adults, and their families in community-based mental health settings. Lauren obtained her B.S. in Child and Adolescent Development with a focus in family and community settings from California State University, Fullerton in 2015. She went on to earn her M.S. in Professional Clinical Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2020.

Lauren has offered mental health intervention to a diverse population of individuals ranging in age, diagnoses, and functional challenges. Her experience includes providing support to at-risk youth in foster care and group home settings and providing clinical intervention to manage co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders in adolescents, adults, and seniors in residential and outpatient levels of care. Lauren aims to provide a validating, trauma-informed, and safe environment that allows clients to authentically and vulnerably engage in the healing process. Lauren has worked most extensively with clients who are experiencing challenges in managing mood and personality disorders, anxiety disorders, executive functioning, and unresolved trauma. Her therapeutic approach focuses on building intrinsic motivation and willingness to create positive change.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys attending concerts, traveling with her fiancé, and spoiling her English bulldog affectionately named Hank (The Tank).
